Our Approach The 5 Pillars
The Foundations of Health
The current medical system is designed to identify and treat the symptoms of a particular disease, illness, or injury you may have, rather than understanding what underlying lifestyle factors are causing the ailment to occur. This approach to medical care does have its advantages, but only for a very select group of people eg. individuals who have become terminally ill, have life threatening injuries, or need acute medical attention.
In the overwhelming majority of circumstances, individuals simply need help to re-educate, re-balance, and re-build the systems in their bodies that have become damaged and dysfunctional. What most people don’t understand is that their symptoms have surfaced due to imbalances in what we call The 5 Pillars: Hormones, Physical Fitness, Nutrition, Detoxification, and Mental/Emotional health.
Our program is designed to systematically test each Pillar through a series of bio-marker tests, questionnaires and meetings with our Physician and Health Coaches. After we have gathered all applicable information, we are able to get a detailed picture of how to treat each individual based on their unique personal history.
The Steps Of Our Program
STEP 1 – TESTING YOUR BIO-MARKERS
What are Bio-Markers?
As defined by the World Health Organization the term “biomarker” is “any substance, structure, or process that can be measured in the body or its products and influence or predict the incidence of outcome or disease.” We test these markers to gain a deeper insight into your body’s physiological activity, and understand what factors are contributing to your overall health state.
STEP 2 – REVIEW OF YOUR RESULTS
Once your tests have been analyzed by the lab, our team will review the results. The information these tests supply, offer us a deeper understanding of how your physiology is currently functioning.
STEP 3 – DIETARY ANALYSIS
At this stage in our program, you will be working with a Health Coach to analyze your current nutritional intake and build your new personalized Nutritional Program.
STEP 4 – MIND & BODY EDUCATION
Along with your dietary analysis, you will be meeting with our health coaches to examine what kind of physical, mental and emotional stressors you have. From here we will understand what kinds of body work, physical exercise, and stress relief techniques will best suit your current lifestyle.
STEP 5 – SUPPORT AND REVIEW
Once you have reached this point in our program you will have a detailed outline of how to proceed with the rest of your program. Depending on what program you are in and the level of support you have, we will be assisting you through your time in the program via email, phone, and 1 on 1 consultations.
STEP 6 – MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
Once you have completed your program, you will have the ability to join our graduated clients in the Maintenance Program. In this program you will have continued support from Dr. Kirsten, Health Coaches, pharmaceutical grade supplements, and our premium online content.
